With events sprawling from the South Padre Island Convention Center all across the island to include the Beach Resort Roof Top Rave, The Holiday Inn Express and The Marriot hotel, there’s a ton to explore for BANZAIKON! 

We’re still finalizing the schedules and working out the space usage plan in some areas, so this information is subject to change as we get closer to the event.

The South Padre Island Convention Center

The Inn at South Padre Island (formerly the Howard Johnson)

• This is the original hotel where we hosted Banzaikon 2010! Pam and her staff are a cornerstone partner and without their support Banzaikon would not have been able to continue to host at South Padre Island. This premises will feature exclusive programing that is invitation only. It will offer a limited amount of discounted room rates for those who call and advise they want to book a room for Banzaikon. It is directly off Padre Blvd and is located in the central area of the island closer to Gravity park. The free shuttle services also stop at The Inn. Shuttle information will be listed below. 

Courtyard by Marriott

• Hours of Operation: 10AM – 12AM
• Event Info: This hotel is close to the premises of the convention center and is one of our host hotels offering a discounted room rate. It is directly off Padre Blvd from the South Padre Island Convention Center and is less than a 10 minute walk. More event info about the Courtyard is coming, check back later!

Beach Resort at South Padre

• Event Info: This hotel is one of our host hotels offering a discounted room rate. It is on the South end of the island and will have social programming including the Roof Top Rave.  It is off of Padre Blvd and free shuttle transportation is provided throughout the island during specific hours. We will be posting the Shuttle hours and information below soon.  It’s possible we will be doing some special after hours events here.
